Youth Animation at Injan Village on 16th June 2013
Miao, Arunachal, 16th June: A day of animation for the youth in Injan village, under Neotan Parish was organized on 16th June 2013 at the village Church.
Frs. Joseph and Felix from Bishop’s House Miao went to Injan to celebrate Mass and to have the Animation Programme thereafter for the Youth in Injan Village. Injan is a small village community of Tangsa Tribe. It is first time that the youth of this beautiful village had an animation programme. It was very encouraging to see all the youth actively participating in the event.
Fr. Joseph speaking to the Youth told them that they are a gift from God and that each one has to contribute to make this world a better place to live in. Fr. Felix told the Youth, “We all have dreams in life. And if you think that what you dream about is good, pursue it. But whatever you want to do in life, remember to leave space for God”. He also said that we should use our talents because God has given them for a particular purpose.
All the participants were very happy to have such programme organized in their Church for the first time. “It was a very useful programme for us. We could learn a lot from this day of Animation. We should have it at least for two days in the coming years,” said one of the participants at the end of the programme.
The Sacred Heart Sisters from Kharsang also helped the Fathers during the Animation.
The Youth had worked hard for the last one week together with the village Catechist and the woman group to make this day a success.
The event came to an end with prize distribution for the various games and competitions conducted during the course of the Animation.
