A village youth Association based in Neotan in Changlang District, Arunachal Pradesh organized Plantation Drive to promote and protect environment on 24 April.

Neotan Youth Association (NYA), led by Mr. James Mossang and his team brought together all the youth in the village for the plantation drive that saw planting of 300 saplings around the village.

Smti. Namrata Bhat, the Circle Officer of Nampahi I was the chief guest at the event. “I am here for two things today. I am with you to appreciate you all for this noble step you have taken and to encourage you to take up many more such initiative to make a better society”, she told the youth. “The administration will always support you with such initiative”, she added.

Mrs. Dangnai Mossang, the Anchal Samiti Chairperson, who was present for the occasion also appreciated the youth for the positive initiative.

Prior to the plantation drive, the village youth presented a few colourful cultural dances.
