Teachers Day Celebrated in Newman School Neotan
The students of Neman School, Neotan celebrated their Teachers’ Day with a wide variety of cultural programmes on 5th September, 2015, at their school hall.
September 5 is celebrated as Teachers’ Day all over India. The students of Neman School in Neotan village too joined in the celebration of this day with singing and dancing, thanking and praying for their teachers. “It is a day given to us to thank our teachers for all the sacrifice they make to make us better and good leaders for our society”, said Manthai Losu of Class X.
Fr. Subin Thomas from Minor Seminary Miao was the Chief Gust for today’s event and requested the students to emulate the ‘example of Mother Teresa as today is also the Feast Day of Mother Teresa.’ “Whatever you need to know is all there. The teachers only help you to realize it. They help you to bring the best out of you for your good and you must respect them and cooperate with them”, he added.
Mr. Homin Mossang, the teachers’ representative thanked the students for making them feel special on Teachers’ Day.
The class X students organized the entire programme together with Sr. Rubina and made the day special for the teachers.
The class-wise entertainment was a delight to all gathered for the occasion.
