The students and thier parents of St. Alphonsa School Gunanagar was visibly happy as they witnessed the blessing of their new school building on 9th November 2015 in the august presence of guests and dignitaries from Gunanagar area.

Respected Mr. Chow Ragingda Namshum, who donated the land for the construction of this school was the Chief Guest on this important day. He was very happy to see his dream of having a school on his land becoming reality. “I am overwhelmed today to see this school. I appreciate all the great works Sr. Anjali and other Sisters are doing here. I would like to sponsor 10 poor children of this school from the next academic year”, he said.

Mr. Thomas Pertin, OC of Chowngkham Cirle was happy to see present for the occasion and he too appreciated the good quality education the schools is imparting to the children on Gunanagar area.

The Buddhist Monks who were present for the programme offered prayers for the school at the beginning of the Blessing of the new school building.
