Newman Educational Society along with Arunachal Pradesh Bharat Scout and Guide department organized the State’s 35th Basic Course for Scout Masters and 32nd Course for Guide Captains at Holy Rosary School Changlang from 24 to 31 of August. There were teachers from ten schools of the Society, namely Christ King Khonsa, St. George Deomali, St. Savio Kanubari, Holy Rosary Changlang, Mother Theresa School Kharsang, Light of the World School, Miao, Divne Word Roing, St. Jude Diyun, St. Mary’s Namsai and KBM Tezu. The Bharat Scout and Guide headquarters at Itanagar sent their resource persons namely Mrs. C. Lowang, Mr. D Tangha, Mr. S. Tiwari, Mr. Dixit and Mr. Gautam Bhattacharji. Mr. Hortum Loyi, DDSE Changlang inaugurated the training and Mr. B. Thangzan, OC Changlang distributed the Certificates to the trainees on the concluding day. Bp. George Palliparmbil SDB, President of the Newman Educational Society visited the place during the training programme and encouraged the trainees.
