6th July, Tinsukia: The General Body members of the  Catholic Religious in India (CRI) of Miao Diocese came together on 29th June 2013 to elect the new office bearers at Light House, Tinsukia.

About 30  CRI General Body Members of Miao Diocese came together to plan and revive the CRI in Miao Diocese. Sr. Ancy CCV gave a brief outline of what is CRI and its objectives and functions at the start of the meeting. Rev. Fr. C C Jose, the main resource person for the day, spoke on the role of Relegious in Arunachal. Speaking to the participants, he said, “We as religious need to be abreast with the new trends in the society and be able to read the signs of the time and act on it, without compromising on the Gospel Values.”

The Election of the new office bearers was held at the end of the meeting.
