Neotan Parish Makes Spiritual Retreat

Neotan Spiritual Retreat

The Catholic Faithful at Sacred Heart Church, Neotan, experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit as they made their Spiritual Retreat from 19 to 21 June, 2015.

The Couples for Christ (CFC) team led by Mr. Joachim animated the faithful to spiritual journey to experience spiritual and physical healing and presence of the Holy Spirit in deep within their hearts. “I thank God for this great spiritual experience”, said Mrs. Likhro Mossang, the Catholic Women President of Miao Diocese. “Our soul has been wounded and broken due to our failures and mistakes. This Retreat has made us whole again”, she added.

All the faithful took active part in all the sessions and presence of the Holy Spirit was felt and they were all moved to tears as they raised their hands in prayers. “This is really a healing experience”, said Mr. Chowjung Mossang, the village Catechist, “for we got an opportunity to mend our broken relationship with God through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.’

Speaking on the concluding day Mass, Rev. Fr. Jose Chemparathy, the Vicar General of the Diocese, exhorted all the faithful to live this experience. “I am happy to be with you on this great day of spiritual experience. I wish that you live this experience in the days to come so that the Spirit that you have experienced during the course of this Retreat remains with you in the days to come.”

Mr. Vincent, the North East Regional Coordinator (CFC) too was present for the concluding day animation and he helped them experience inner healing with anointing prayer.

The parish council members are sincerely grateful to the preaching team for leading them all to healing.

Congratulations to the Parish Council members for planning and arranging everything to make this Retreat a successful Spiritual experience and a big ‘thank you’ to all the participants for their active participation.
