The students from the Light of the World School, Miao, Changlang actively participated in the Drug Abuse Awareness Rally organised on 8 July by the Inter Collegiate Youth Association (ICYA), Miao.  A good number of the members of the ICYA are also the members of the ICYM (Indian Catholic Youth Movement). This rally was part of the ongoing ‘Drug Abuse Awareness’ week organised by the ICYA members of the area. More than a thousand youth from various schools in and around Miao participated in the rally.

The rally began at the Helipad, Miao and proceeded to the public ground through the Miao town. The youth carried placards that tells about the evil effects of alcohol, drug and tobacco abuse. They shouted slogans and all to avoid the use alcohol, drug and tobacco products from their lives.
