Library Project Inaugurated in Namsai and Miao

The Polish Embassy in India expressed their solidarity with the Newman Educational Society, the educational wing of the Diocese of Miao, in its educational activities by helping it set up two libraries in St. Mary’s School, Namsai and Light of the World School in Miao on 8 January 2016.

Hon’ble Madam Maria Lukaszuk, the wife of the Polish Ambassador to India and Mr. Andrzej Stuczynski his third secretary visited Miao and Namsai to inaugurate the  Library Project here. Polish Embassy in India has been helping the diocese of Miao. As continuation of their support with computers to St. Jude School in Diyun last year, the Polish Aid came ahead to help two schools in the Diocese with libraries. The Schools in Namsai and Miao was blessed to have been the two schools. The donated over 6000 books to the Library in these two schools.

Inaugurating the Library in Namsai, Madam Maria appreciated all the educational iniatives taken by the Diocese in the eight districts of east Arunachal Pradesh. “I am very happy to be with you today and I am overwhelmed by your warm welcome and your talents. We are very happy to contribute in a small way to the promotion of education in this part of India”, she said.
