KBM Hospital observes a moment of silence for the Health Minister

The staff and management of KBM Hospital, Injan in Changlang  District observed a moment of silence and prayers for the departed soul of Hon’ble Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Shri Jomde Kena, on 6 September at the hospital hall.

Reacting to the untimely demise, Bishop George Pallipparambil SDB, the patron of the hospital, expressed his grief and said it is a great loss to the State especially to the health department. “We join with the people of Arunachal and offer our deepest condolences and sincere prayers to the bereaved family. May his soul rest in peace”, he said.

Dr. Sudip Bhattacharjee, a veteran doctor of the hospital, led the prayer service and expressed his grief at the passing of one of the young, dynamic and experienced leaders of the state.

Fr. Felix Anthony, the Director of the hospital too offered his condolences and invited the staff to observe a moment of silence as a mark of respect for the departed soul of the Health Minister, who passed away on 4 September at a private hospital in Guwahati, Assam.
