Incessant Rain Disturbs Normal Life in Miao
The rain that started last Friday is causing flood and creating havoc for all in this part of our Country. As the news is coming in, we learn that most of our centres in the Diocese have been flooded and the children in our boardings have been moved to safety.
The Sevakendra Training Centre at Nampahi I is floating in the water. The classes for the trainees have been suspended for now. “We are very sacred. If the rain does not stop today the water will get into our living areas”, said Miss Junaki, the Trainer. “We kept awake the whole last night worried and scared for the trainees. We hope and pray the situation improves soon”, added the Trainer.
People are not able to get out of their homes to buy their daily commodities or to go to their work place.
We hope and pray that life returns to normalcy soon.
