“I owe it to Bishop George” – A Success Story from Miao Diocese
“What no one ever saw and heard what no one ever thought could happen is the very God prepared for those who love him” (I Cor 2:9)
I am Sr. Lemnom Mosang FMA a Salesian sister, daughter of Mr.Chemjang Mosang from Neotan village belonging to the Diocese of Miao. I have been loved and blessed by Jesus and chosen to be a beautiful instrument of God that no one has ever thought of or expected to be a religious.
The seed of Christian faith was sown also in our village by our vibrant and enthusiastic Pastor, Rt.Rev.Bishop P.K.George Palliparambil in the year 2000. Now that small seed of faith has grown spreading its wide branches. His hard labour has borne many fruits. I am proud to be one among them. I feel the joy of God’s immense love for me that I want to proclaim His greatness to all.
By the grace of God, I made my religious profession on 24 May 2014 as a Salesian Sister in the province of Kolkata. A daughter of Arunachal became a daughter of Mary Help of Christians in the Congregation of the Salesian Sisters which is founded by St. John Bosco and our Cofoundress is also a Saint, St. Mary Mazzarello. At present I am in Kurseong in the district of Darjeeling a cold and lovely place in the State of West Bengal.
My joy knew no bounds in reading the News articles of our diocese Miao. It created a great impetus to share about my vocation to all of you through this letter. I extend my hearty thanks and assurance of my prayers to every one of you who takes interest to make known the Gospel of Joy by proclaiming Our Christian faith in Arunachal.
Let us pray that God may bind us always with His eternal love that we may grow in Faith to spread His Kingdom in different parts of our Country. With warm Regards to all (Sr. Lemnom Mosang FMA)
