The Franciscan Clarist Sisters at Tissa were blessed with a new convent on 12 December 2016.

The community of  FCC Sisters at Tissa were living in a humble house made of bamboo with tin-sheet roofing for the last five years. This new house, which has a dispensary attached, will help them to more useful to the people under their care.

Bishop George blessed the convent and dispensary the Rev.
