In response to the alarming data of growing number of drug addicts in this region, The Light of the World School, Miao organized a Drug Abuse Awareness Camp on 26th November, 2014. 

We should fight Drug and Alcohol as our most dangerous common enemy says Bishop George whenever he meets the young students. Keeping in mind the importance of being aware of the drug abuse cases in this region, Sr. Reena MSMHC organized an awareness camp with the help of  YCS/YSM unit of the school. Fr. Felix, animating the students said to the students, “As young students and future leaders all must be aware of the evils of drug abuse and be vigilant always. You should also help your friends not to fall prey to the temptations of this evil.” 

All the students were said that they are sad to know  about the many number of young boys and girls giving into drugs these days. But camps like this help us to be aware and vigilant.
