The Visitation Sisters of Don Boco (VSDB) had their new convent blessed on 30th January 2014 and the FCC Sisters in Chokham had the blessing of their new house on 25th February, 2014 by Bishop George Pallipparambil.

The VSDB Sisters, who came to the Diocese last September, were staying in Roing with the SVD Community till January 2014, because they had no house in Bollung, thier mission area. On 30th February, thanks to the support of a local family in Bollung, Bishop George blessed their new house. Srs. Basyrpailin and Katini moved in their new house after the blessing. Thanks to Fr. Roy SVD for helping the Sisters with accommodation for the last five months. 

Similarly the FCC Sisters in Chokham (Srs. Anjali, Roshni and Julie) had their new convent blessed on 25th February 2014 by Bishop George. The FCC community was living a bamboo house with tin-sheet roofing for the last three years. They have now moved into a new beautiful house, which is also God’s providence manifested through the kindness of the people.
