The Jubilee of Srs. Alphonsamma and Tessy was celebrated with great joy by the Sacred Heart Sisters in Kharsang  on 24th January 2015.

Sr. Alphonsamma completes her 50 Golden Years of her committed ‘YES’ to the Lord and Sr. Tessy 25 years. 

Sr. Alphonsamma, in her 50 years of consecrated life has held different responsibilities in her Congregation. She began her religious life as Secretary to her Superior General, Novice Mistress, Provincial Councillor and Provincial Superior (2 Terms) before she opted to work in the missions at Miao Diocese. Incidentally, she is the one who paved the way for establishments of two Houses (Kanubari and Kharsang) in Miao Diocese duirng her tenure as Provincial Superior.  Considering her age and her service to her Congregation for the last 50 Years, she could have easily opted for less taxing life. Instead, she chose an active missionary life in our Diocese. The Diocese of Miao is sincerely grateful to her for her tireless service to our Diocese.

Sr. Tessy has spent 19 years of her 25 years of Consecrated Life for the service of mentally challenged children. As Principal of the school for these special children, she worked hard to make the life these children in to a success story. That she helped these children represent in State Level Programmes is worth mentioning.
